Wealth and Investment Specialist (Paraplanner)

Join our team at Fedgroup as a Wealth and Investment Specialist (Paraplanner) based in Sandton. We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive individual passionate about finance, research, and client service to support our top financial professionals.

Role Overview

The Wealth and Investment Specialist will handle daily administrative, research, customer service, and operational tasks. The role supports the MD of Wealth and Investments by providing internal advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research advice-related issues for client reports and Records of Advice
  • Upload client financial data and prepare financial scenarios
  • Conduct portfolio analysis and draft Records of Advice
  • Assist with client review processes, manage investments, and rebalancing portfolios
  • Prepare meeting packs, record minutes, and maintain compliance
  • Handle client queries and support audit processes
  • Research market developments and participate in projects
  • Ensure adherence to FICA and FAIS regulations
Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree in a relevant field; postgraduate qualification preferred
  • Meeting FAIS Fit and Proper requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong client relationship skills and communication abilities
  • Understanding of financial advisory compliance
