Job description

A reputable Financial Advisory Services firm is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor to build and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. This role requires a combination of financial expertise, relationship management, and a commitment to providing personalized service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a portfolio of high-net-worth clients through networking and relationship-building
  • Provide comprehensive wealth and estate planning services, focusing on investments, risk management, business planning, and fiduciary duties
  • Ensure adherence to mandates and compliance requirements
  • Manage client needs proactively through effective CRM management
  • Conduct regular review meetings with clients
  • Follow practice management principles for effective business management (segmentation, servicing, etc.)
  • Oversee revenue and commission management
  • Build relationships across divisions and contribute to growing the company profile, particularly in Stellenbosch
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Preference for Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in investment and insurance sectors
  • Strong network, preferably in the Western Cape/Stellenbosch area
  • Capability to independently manage a practice within the business
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products and financial planning
  • Strong client service focus with excellent communication skills
  • Resourceful, proactive, and excellent at time management and prioritization
  • Proven track record in managing funds under advice (FUA)
  • Solid analytical skills and understanding of legal and regulatory requirements
