Job summary

FNB South Africa is seeking a Private Banker to proactively manage a portfolio of affluent clients, delivering analysis, research, sales and service through a team of Private Bankers. You will identify opportunities, expand the client base and strengthen stakeholder relationships for operational success.

You will market all financial services solutions, contribute to profit growth, and maintain high-quality outputs within deadlines, supporting service excellence across the bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree – NQF 7, FSCA‑approved. Examples: Finance, Economics, Investment Management, Financial Planning, Business Management.
• RE5 Regulatory Compliance Certificates with relevant COB (Class of Business) Meet all requirements on SUB-CATS.
• 3–5 years’ experience within a Sales/Service area in a financial service environment.
• Strong networking and collaboration skills.
• Earn basic guaranteed rewards with uncapped earning potential.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively manage a portfolio of affluent clients with a team of Private Bankers through analysis, research, sales and service fulfilment.
• Identify opportunities to bank new clients and grow existing portfolio through stakeholder management.
• Build and manage stakeholder relationships to enable operational success.
• Contribute to a culture of service excellence and provide feedback for exceptional service.
• Understand and market all financial services solutions within the relevant business offering.
• Assist with profit growth by effectively managing the leads pipeline.
• Consistently produce high-quality outputs within agreed deadlines.
