Job description

A reputable Financial Advisory Services firm is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor to build and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. This role requires a combination of financial expertise, relationship management, and a commitment to providing personalized service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a portfolio of high-net-worth clients through networking and relationship-building
  2. Provide comprehensive wealth and estate planning services, focusing on investments, risk management, business planning, and fiduciary duties
  3. Ensure adherence to mandates and compliance requirements
  4. Manage client needs proactively through effective CRM management
  5. Conduct regular review meetings with clients
  6. Follow practice management principles for effective business management (segmentation, servicing, etc.)
  7. Oversee revenue and commission management
  8. Build relationships across divisions and contribute to growing the company profile, particularly in Stellenbosch

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Matric (Grade 12)
  2. Preference for Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification
  3. At least 5 years of experience in investment and insurance sectors
  4. Strong network, preferably in the Western Cape/Stellenbosch area
  5. Capability to independently manage a practice within the business
  6. In-depth knowledge of investment products and financial planning
  7. Strong client service focus with excellent communication skills
  8. Resourceful, proactive, and excellent at time management and prioritization
  9. Proven track record in managing funds under advice (FUA)
  10. Solid analytical skills and understanding of legal and regulatory requirements
