The City of Cape Town is seeking a Future Planning & Resilience Corporate Project Manager. This role includes managing wayleave coordination, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with SLAs. Future Planning & Resilience Corporate Project, Programme and Portfolio Management
TCOE Salary: R1 020 311 – R1 384 300 PER ANNUM LOCATION Civic Centre, Cape Town
Requirements:
• A relevant degree in Commerce/ HR/ Business Management or
Engineering or Built Environment field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
• Professional registration with a relevant professional body is
advantageous
• Desirable experience: process and project management
,construction planning, agreement drafting, property and asset
management, financial administration, data management and
visualisation, and public sector regulations (Wayleaves)
• Computer proficiency in SAP, ESRI, Oracle, MS Projects
/Primavera P6 and MS Office
• A valid driver’s license
Key Performance Areas:
• Provide Wayleave coordination and administrative support
• Manage applicant expectations and minimise complaints
• Monitor the performance of the line departments according
to the SLAs and escalate to the wayleave manager when required
• Identify bottlenecks in all wayleave administrative functions,
wayleave application and permit reviews
• Ensure the appropriate terms and conditions are included
in Wayleave SLA's
• Undertake dispute resolution in relation to Wayleave
applications/permits or compliance with SLAs
• Risk advisory services
• Stakeholder engagement.
