Water Treatment Plant Operator Job Opportunities

We're looking for skilled Class 2 and Class 3 Plant Operators to join our water treatment team. As a Plant Operator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate and maintain water treatment plants: Oversee daily operations, including monitoring water quality, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues.
2. Conduct routine checks: Ensure compliance with safety standards, monitor steam and water levels, and perform other essential checks.
3. Maintain equipment: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on water treatment systems, including filtration and disinfection equipment.

Requirements

1. Class 2 or class 3 Waterworks Operator's License: A valid license from a recognized authority, such as the Commonwealth of Virginia, is required.
2. Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in water treatment plant operations or a related field.
3. Technical skills: Strong understanding of water treatment processes, including coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection.
