Qualifications

• National Diploma in Environmental Management or Natural Sciences.
• One year experience or internship preferred.
• Valid unexpired driver's license.
• Knowledge of integrated water resource management.
• Knowledge of water sector legislation (NWA, CARA, NEMA, MPRDA).

Responsibilities

• Assess completeness of WULAs and conduct site inspections.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to obtain information during WULA assessments.
• Draft license conditions to mitigate environmental impacts of water uses.
• Assist in developing NWA implementation policies and guidelines.
• Draft RoRs and decision documents.
• Respond to queries from clients inside and outside the department.
