Job summary

Water Purification Technician role in the Johannesburg region, Gauteng, with Elchemie Recruitment. Based in Johannesburg, the candidate will install, maintain and troubleshoot water filtration systems across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Install water filtration equipment across a wide range (POE/POU, softening, RO).
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Conduct water quality tests and analyse results.
• Train customers/franchises to operate and install systems.
• Prepare installation reports, checklists and site documentation.
• Record all work in the CRM.

About the Role

Our client, a leading water technology company, has an exciting opportunity available for a Water Purification Technician, based in Johannesburg region.
The ideal candidate should have 1–6 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of water filtration and purification equipment, along with sound plumbing and basic electrical knowledge.

What you’ll be doing

• Install water filtration equipment in its widest range, point of entry, point of use, softening, reverse osmosis etc
• Routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Water quality tests and analysing results
• Train customers/Franchises to operate, install their systems
• Installation reports, checklists, and site documentation
• Report all work through CRM

What you’ll need

• Valid Driver's licence
• Matric is the base, a trade is "beneficial".
• Experience: 1–2 years for junior, 2–4 for service level individual, 3–6 for installer.
• Plumbing, basic skills required
• Electrical knowledge

What is in it for you?
