A leading engineering consulting firm in Durban seeks a Water Design Engineer. The successful candidate will engage in the design and documentation of water and wastewater treatment projects, requiring strong technical skills in Civil Designer, Civil3D, and AutoCAD, along with relevant qualifications and 5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years specific Municipal Infrastructure Design experience required.
• Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
• NQF 5 and/or 7 in labor-intensive construction projects advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design & document projects involving water and wastewater systems.
• Prepare reports and presentations.
• Competent with relevant design software.

RPO Recruitments very reputable Engineering Consulting client is looking for aWater Design Engineer for their Durban office.

Responsibilities :

• Design & documentation of projects involving the conveyance and treatment of both Water and Wastewater and associated technologies (e.g. water distribution pump stations pipelines and treatment plants)
• Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
• Experience with GCC2015 SABS1200 & COLTO
• Preparation of reports and presentations
• Competent with Civil Designer Civil3D and AutoCAD

Requirements :

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification (B Eng or B Tech)
• PrEng / PrTechEng
• NQF 5 and / or 7 in labour intensive construction projects advantage
• 5 or more years with specific Municipal Infrastructure Design experience is a prerequisite
