The role of a warranty and costing clerk is to maintain warranty records and process warranty claims according to OEM requirements along with all job costings related to workshop repairs carried out on clients’ vehicles. The warranty clerk will work with customers, workshop staff, suppliers, and other departments to resolve warranty issues and is responsible for ensuring the processes operate effectively and efficiently to meet the high standards of the brand.

POSITION INFO: Duties include

• Process all warranty claims in line with policies and procedures.
• Costing and invoicing of all job cards as per OEM and group policy.
• Liaise with service department and at Head Office to resolve any costing and warranty issues.
• Administer and return defective parts to the manufacturer as required.
• Liaising with customers regarding claims.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warranty claims activity.
• Audit adherence.
• General administration of day-to-day invoices.

Requirements:

• Matric.
• Minimum of 3 years warranty claims experience within a Franchise Motor Dealership.
• Literate on Autoline / Kerridge / Evolve.
• Attention to detail and strong admin skills.
• Good customer care skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge on analysis and report writing.
