About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join their dynamic team in Soweto . This role involves guiding and supervising a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient execution of daily warehouse tasks such as receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching. You will play a key part in maintaining operational standards, promoting a positive team atmosphere, and contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the warehouse. The ideal candidate is a natural leader, possesses strong organizational skills, and is dedicated to fostering a productive and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and guide a team of warehouse associates in their daily tasks.
• Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely execution of picking, packing, and shipping orders.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and ensuring proper storage of goods.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Provide on-the-job training and support to team members.
• Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding team performance and operational needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader , Supervisor, or in a senior warehouse operative role.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
