Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor - SAB Nelspruit Depot

Location: Mpumalanga, Nelspruit | Deadline: September 07, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Counts: Physically perform and lead the morning inventory count process; identify root causes of variances and implement action plans; reduce supply chain overheads; manage warehouse tools to ensure FEFO; track inventory accuracy; ensure proper movement of materials reflected in SAP.
  2. Layout Implementation: Ensure adherence to warehouse layout zones such as empties, refusal, order picking, repack, and finished goods.
  3. Quality Standards Improvement: Manage warehouse cleanliness, pest control, temperature, and product exposure; ensure 75% compliance to global warehouse GOP; implement location-based inventory system; ensure non-conforming inventory is blocked; conduct product quality inductions; monitor and improve repacking operations.
  4. Picking Standards: Follow standardized picking processes; ensure compliance and track accuracy and productivity.
  5. Productivity & Capacity Management: Achieve 75% compliance to warehouse labor productivity goals; allocate labor activities using SKAP tool.
  6. Warehouse Management: Implement and improve 5S; support management cycle design; develop and validate SOPs; conduct routine team meetings; develop SCL routines; utilize problem-solving tools to improve performance; cascade KPIs to individual employees and monitor targets.
  7. Safe Warehouse Practices: Maintain safety standards; oversee loading/unloading activities; improve productivity in bay allocation; track relevant KPIs such as TCT and bay time utilization.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-year relevant diploma or degree
  • 2+ years warehouse or logistics experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, Oasis, handheld devices
  • SAP proficiency
  • Experience in storekeeping or procurement roles
