Are you an experienced warehouse professional ready to take charge of a new facility? A growing company is looking for a hands-on, reliable Warehouse Supervisor to manage all operations at their new branch in Newton Park, Port Elizabeth . This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the ground up.

Role Overview

As the sole warehouse staff member on-site, you’ll be responsible for the full warehouse function, from receiving and stock management to dispatch. You’ll oversee inventory valued at around R4 million and maintain a clean, well-organised, and efficient facility. As the branch grows, you’ll take the lead in developing the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the receiving and dispatch of stock via couriers and customer collections
  • Pick, pack and dispatch orders accurately and on time
  • Unpack and shelve stock following deliveries
  • Conduct rolling stock counts and assist with full stock takes
  • Oversee returns, credit notes, swaps, and stock adjustments
  • Maintain general housekeeping and warehouse organisation
  • Oversee facility maintenance
  • Supervise warehouse staff as the team expands

Requirements

  • Matric is essential
  • Minimum of 6 years’ warehouse experience, ideally in the FMCG or PPE sector
  • Proven experience managing inventory and warehouse processes
  • Proficient in MS Office, ERP system experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Stable work history with minimal job-hopping
  • Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a hands-on role
