About the Role

As Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of incoming goods, storage, and dispatch processes. From leading a team and conducting daily briefings to ensuring inventory accuracy and enforcing health & safety, you’ll play a central role in driving service excellence in the Durban warehouse. The role reports to the Senior Warehouse Supervisor.

With deep expertise in freight forwarding, warehousing, and end-to-end logistics solutions, they enable clients to move goods across borders efficiently and compliantly. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all warehouse staff and manage daily shift operations.
• Plan, allocate and optimise resources to meet operational demands.
• Oversee inbound, storage, and outbound logistics processes.
• Ensure correct stacking, secure loading, and accurate dispatch of goods.
• Enforce company SOPs, health & safety, and warehouse rules.
• Maintain accurate system records and alignment with physical stock.
• Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and shift handovers.
• Drive performance through KPI monitoring, audits, and snag list updates.
• Control WMS usage, document sign-offs, and incident reporting.
• Coordinate stock takes (weekly, monthly, quarterly) including 3rd-party involvement.

Requirements

• Grade 12 with at least 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations.
• Minimum 3 years' experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must be able to work shifts.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
