Warehouse Supervisor

Our client based in Alberton is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the seamless operation of their warehouse.
Role Purpose
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing receiving, dispatch, and export processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. This role demands excellent organizational skills, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

1. Oversee and manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, dispatch, and export operations.
2. Ensure incoming goods are accurately received, inspected, and recorded in the inventory system.
3. Supervise the dispatch process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
4. Coordinate export shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements.
5. Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and address discrepancies promptly.
6. Lead and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and efficiency.
7. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse activities to optimize productivity and accuracy.
8. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards within the warehouse environment.
9. Utilize computer systems for inventory management, reporting, and tracking of shipments.

1. Matric qualification (Grade 12).
2. Proficiency in computer literacy, including [e.g., MS Office or inventory software].
3. Proven experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, dispatch, and export processes.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
