Warehouse Supervisor – Paarden Eiland, Cape Town.

Are you experienced in warehouse operations and have strong people management skills? Our client in Paarden Eiland requires a reliable and detail-oriented individual to oversee daily warehouse operations and drive efficiency across stock control and dispatch for a large warehouse.

Hands-on problem-solving skills, effective leadership and a sharp eye for accuracy are essential for this role.

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade12) or equivalent (post-matric qualification is an advantage)
  • At least two years warehouse, logistics, and stock control experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with formidable organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Willingness to work extended hours/shifts to meet customer requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Supervise stock control, including receiving, storage, and dispatching, while minimizing damages, losses, and discrepancies
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, investigate, and resolve discrepancies and oversee periodic stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Plan and manage logistics to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries
  • Maintain accurate stock transaction records on the computer system
  • Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse infrastructure, equipment and fleet
  • Lead, train and support a professional, customer-focused warehouse team
