Placements24 is seeking a diligent Warehouse Operative for our Vereeniging, Gauteng facility. You will pick, pack, label, and dispatch orders, maintaining accuracy and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires standing and lifting up to 15–20 kg, with opportunities for overtime during peak seasons. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected, and reliable teamwork is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 15-20 kg.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using hand-held scanners and order lists.
• Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
• Verify order accuracy before packing and dispatch.
• Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards.
• Label packages correctly for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.
• Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming goods as needed.
• Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
• Contribute to team goals and support colleagues to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Report any issues or discrepancies promptly to the supervisor.
