About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and organized Warehouse Operative to manage inventory and logistics operations at their facility near Randburg . This role is critical for ensuring the smooth flow of goods, from receiving raw materials to dispatching finished products. The ideal candidate will be experienced in warehouse operations, possess strong organizational skills, and be committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This position requires a proactive approach to managing stock, fulfilling orders accurately, and contributing to the overall supply chain efficiency. While primarily on-site, there may be opportunities for remote coordination of certain tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory and materials accurately.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and meets safety standards.
• Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams for timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar logistics role.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
