About the Role

Our client is seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their team in East London . You will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the smooth operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team to meet operational targets. Contributing to efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment, you will play a key role in the supply chain process.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming stock, verifying against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Store goods in appropriate locations within the warehouse , ensuring proper organization and stock rotation.
• Pick items from shelves accurately based on order requirements using scanning equipment or pick lists.
• Pack items securely and efficiently for dispatch, ensuring they are protected during transit.
• Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles safely and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar manual handling role is beneficial.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items (up to 25kg), standing, and walking for long periods.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.
• Must be able to work shifts at the East London facility.
