Placements24 is seeking dedicated Warehouse Operatives to join their Soweto facility. The role focuses on picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch, with emphasis on accuracy and timely fulfillment within a dynamic team.

You will gain on‑the‑job training, work full-time with an overtime opportunity, and grow through exposure to stock management and quality checks. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, good teamwork and attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 20 kg.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
• Experience in warehouse picking/packing is advantageous but not required.
• Familiarity with scanning technology is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications using scanning equipment.
• Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate boxes or containers for shipment.
• Label packages correctly and prepare them for dispatch.
• Conduct quality checks on picked items and packaged goods to ensure standards.
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory management as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations.
