Warehouse Operations Supervisor – Humansdorp

Location: Eastern Cape, Humansdorp

Salary Interval: Monthly

Package: Negotiable

Description: Our client in the Manufacturing/FMCG industry, based in Humansdorp, is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor. Candidates must have qualifications in supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, or an equivalent field.

Requirements:

  • Matric certificate and relevant qualifications in supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, or equivalent.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience leading a team in a highly unionized environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and WMS (Warehouse Management System).

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing an operational team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
  • Ensuring all shift KPIs are achieved and controls are implemented correctly, accurately, and according to procedures.
  • Maintaining proper records and effectively communicating all shift operation issues, updating work instructions and SOPs.
  • Overseeing stock counts, housekeeping, and assisting the stock control team in resolving stock discrepancies related to transfers from production and sales, using WMS/ERP systems.
  • Identifying continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
