Warehouse Manager (Centurion and Roodepoort - JHB)

Decofurn is a furniture retailer with 12 stores nationwide. We have a highly efficient online store that can service clients in most parts of South Africa.

Our unique warehouse/factory shop concept has been developed with 32 years of experience in the furniture industry. Our Group is a leading importer, manufacturer, and retailer of furniture and related products.

Your Purpose:

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the daily management of the branch warehouse and staff, overseeing the dispatching and receiving process of stock items, stock management and effective record keeping, reporting, housekeeping and customer service on a 6-day work week.

Responsibilities

1. Accurately manage the receiving and dispatch process
2. Ensure SOPs are followed
3. Repairs/exchanges to be done timeously
4. Manage the smooth running of POS and Pastel system
5. Manage all warehouse staff
6. Management of full cycle stock control, including assembled stock
7. Supervision of the packing and stacking of stock
8. Minimising stock losses and damages
9. Planning of deliveries and collections

Qualifications

1. Grade 12 or Equivalent
2. Tertiary Qualification - preferred
3. 4+ years of retail/receiving/warehouse experience
4. 4+ years of managerial experience (18+ staff)
5. 4+ years of customer service experience
6. Detail oriented
7. Time management
8. Communication skills and team player
9. Computer literate: Word & Excel
10. Sage Pastel advantageous
11. Valid driver’s license and own, reliable vehicle
