• Position: Warehouse Manager
• Location: Ladysmith, BC
• Salary: $55.00 / hour for 40 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Work setting: Warehouse, Newspaper publisher

Qualifications

• Education: College / CEGEP or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2 to 3 years
• Languages: English

Responsibilities

1. Identify customers' needs
2. Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
3. Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
4. Recommend products or services to customers
5. Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
6. Deliver sales presentations
7. Prepare and administer sales contracts
8. Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services
9. Plan and manage the facility's operations budget
10. Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal
11. Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment
12. Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units
13. Organize warehouse and work areas

Supervision

Supervision of 16-20 people

Security and Safety

• Criminal record check
• Driver's license check

Transportation / Travel Information

• Own vehicle and valid driver's license required
