Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Warehouse Manager within a food company based in Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

1. Full leadership management and cost control of 3 shifts to deliver the business results.
2. Full stock control, ensuring stock integrity at all times.
3. Ensure correct operation and maintenance of all equipment, including MHE, docks, and freezer equipment.
4. Proper loading and offloading of all vehicles.
5. Adherence to safety standards and operating procedures.
6. Manage all staff, including handling leave, absenteeism, and staff allocation to workload.
7. Maintain communication with internal and external clients.
8. Control of pallet and bulk crate movements.
9. Accurate recording of stock movements.

Requirements:

1. Grade 12 as a minimum, with Mathematics and Science as passed subjects.
2. Relevant qualification at NQF 6 Level (Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management).
3. At least 5 years of cold store warehouse and distribution experience at a managerial level.
4. Cold chain management experience in the FMCG sector is an advantage.
5. Willingness to work shifts and weekends as needed.
6. Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
