Warehouse Manager with 2 years experience needed for a fast-growing retail Company!

POSITION INFO :

Warehouse Manager - Montague Gardens

The role would be suited to a hands-on Manager who is passionate about continuous improvement & has a track record of successfully managing inventory, people, processes & systems! Strong leadership skills needed to manage a small & diverse team.

Some responsibilities will include :

• Manage the efficient receipt, storage & dispatch of a wide range of goods from the warehouse
• Ensure compliance with company standards
• Performing weekly cycle counts & investigate any inventory losses
• Supervise, train & coach the Warehouse team & ensure collaborative team effort at all times
• Facilitate effective communication within the team & across the site
• Complete daily & weekly reports for Management
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental standards
• Strategically plan out warehouse, plan routes & deliverables
• Remain on call for emergencies

Experience, Qualifications & Skills required :

• 2 Years experience as Warehouse Manager in a fast-moving environment – Retail industry would be ideal!
• Matric coupled with qualification relating to Logistics / Warehouse or Distribution
• Valid drivers license & own reliable vehicle
• Strong leadership skills & able to develop team individuals so they achieve their full potential
• Ability to create, manage & improve management reports
