Warehouse Manager position available in Cape Town.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Retail Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations and ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining productivity targets, ensuring accurate stock control, managing staff, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards within a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
• Manage warehouse staff schedules, performance, and training
• Maintain accurate inventory control systems, including regular stock takes and reconciliation
• Implement and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
• Coordinate with procurement, retail outlets, and logistics teams to meet delivery timelines
• Monitor and report on warehouse KPIs and performance metrics
• Maintain security of the warehouse, equipment, and inventory
• Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of all machinery
• Support seasonal and promotional stock handling requirements

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably within a retail or FMCG environment
• Proven experience managing teams and working in high-volume warehouse settings
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and best practices
