Warehouse Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Warehouse Manager within a food company based in Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

• Full leadership management and cost control of 3 shifts to deliver the business results.
• Full stock control always ensuring stock integrity.
• Correct operation ensuring maintenance are done and cover working of all MHE.
• Correct loading and offloading of all vehicles.
• Correct operation and maintenance of docks and freezer equipment.
• Adherence to safety standards and operating procedures.
• Managing of all staff (leave absenteeism etc. and allocating of staff to complete workload).
• Communication with internal and external clients.
• Control of pallet movement.
• Control of bulk crate movement.
• Stock movement recorded accurately.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 as minimum requirement with maths and science as subjects passed.
• Relevant qualification at NQF 6 Level (Warehouse Management Supply Chain Management).
• At least 5 years cold store warehouse experience and distribution experience at managerial level.
• Cold chain management experience in the FMCG sector is an added advantage.
• Required to work shifts and weekends when needed.
• Computer literacy MS (Word / Excel / PowerPoint).
