SUMMARY:

Pinetown - Step into a key leadership role in warehouse operations. A growing manufacturing business is seeking a hands-on individual to supervise and streamline their inbound logistics processes.

POSITION INFO:

Our client is a manufacturer within the furniture and home goods sector, operating a busy production and warehousing facility. They are committed to maintaining efficient supply chain practices and high product quality standards.

This role will be responsible for supervising the receiving and put-away of all incoming goods and returns, managing a team of staff, and ensuring accurate system capturing. The ideal candidate will support daily targets and ensure stock integrity and flow across the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all goods are received, GRV’d, and put away accurately and timeously
  • Oversee timely offloading of trucks and stock consolidation
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to the 3-point stock check process
  • Supervise the receipt and processing of return stock and related documentation
  • Coordinate with shunting drivers to meet daily KPIs
  • Manage container offloading in coordination with receiving staff
  • Ensure accurate and timely paperwork for stock sent to and received from the factory
  • Oversee pallet management and liaise with the outbound supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of inbound floor and material bins
  • Daily review and filing of shunting sheets and driver checklists
  • Track team KPIs, ensuring stock accuracy, clear transfers, and FIFO adherence

Requirements

  • Matric (essential)

Remuneration: R12 000 - R14 000 Cost to Company
