Job summary

Medipost Pretoria is seeking a General Assistant to support warehouse operations. You will pick totes according to priority and collection date, maintain GPP and SOP compliance, and keep shelves neat while ensuring no stock is left on the floor.

Daily tasks include a minimum of 500 totes, minimizing picking errors, training on how to operate pallet jacks to move stock, and assisting with ad hoc tasks and stock takes. Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical/Life Science is required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical/Life Science.
• Experience with Medipost Policy Procedures and SOPs.
• Training in SOPs and policies.

Responsibilities

• Pick a minimum of 500 totes per day according to priority and collection date.
• Adhere to GPP and SOPs and maintain housekeeping compliance.
• Ensure correct PMP is in the correct group box and totes are correctly labelled.
• Keep shelves neat, full and in order; ensure no stock on the floor.
• Avoid use of cell phones while working and maintain proper dress code.
• Assist with ad hoc tasks and daily stock takes and ensure accuracy of counts.
