Join Our Team as a Warehouse Driver at KFC Rohloff Group!
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Driver to join our dynamic team at KFC Rohloff Group. The purpose of this role is to transport goods safely and efficiently between warehouses, suppliers, customers, or retail outlets, while supporting warehouse operations through loading, unloading, and accurate delivery handling.
What You'll Be Cooking Up:
On-Time Food Stock Transfers
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food stock between warehouses, distribution centres, and retail locations.
- Maintain cold chain integrity and product quality during transport.
Accuracy & Documentation
- Verify and reconcile delivery notes, invoices, and stock transfer records.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted promptly
Communication & Reporting
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch, warehouse teams, and supervisors.
- Report delivery status, delays, or issues in real-time using company systems or mobile apps.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and suggest improvements in delivery routes, loading processes, and warehouse workflows.
- Participate in team meetings and feedback sessions to enhance operational efficiency.
Customer Service & Team Support
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with internal teams and external partners.
- Assist warehouse staff with loading/unloading and general tasks when not driving.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, especially those related to food handling and transport.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any safety concerns.
Performance Metrics & Reporting
- Meet or exceed KPIs such as on-time delivery rate, documentation accuracy, and vehicle condition scores.
- Support data collection for performance reviews and audits.
Vehicle & Equipment Management
- Operate and maintain delivery vehicles in good working condition.
- Ensure cleanliness, fuel levels, and scheduled maintenance are up to date.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Grade 12 or Matric Equivalent Certificates
