Job summary

A leading logistics company is looking for a Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth transport operations and stock movement. This position requires a Grade 12 certificate along with a 3-year qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Job description

What You Will Enjoy Doing

  1. Ensure that prepared materials (RM, MB, Secondary packaging) are transported from the warehouse to the handover point for production.
  2. Manage internal warehouse transport operations.
  3. Ensure stock movement between warehouse and production (FG or RM warehouse).
  4. Oversee Finished Goods warehouse operations.
  5. Manage transportation activities: prepare, load, administer cargo, secure loads, and load trucks.
  6. Complete external administrative work with forwarding companies and internal tasks related to ALPLA Prod and NAV.
  7. Ensure that your direct reports are well-trained, competent, and committed through continuous communication, oversight, and support.
  8. Ensure that organizational roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and executed by your team.
  9. Ensure equipment and stock are well-maintained and properly cared for, including housekeeping (5S).
  10. Coordinate maintenance activities with the maintenance department.
  11. Report any risks related to Quality and Food Safety Management, especially for food contact products.
  12. Promote ongoing awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, and Health and Safety standards.
  13. Ensure personnel are trained and comply with all HSE measures (PPE, safety guards, etc.).
