Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the management of day-to-day warehouse operations within your designated section.
  • Plan and allocate storage space effectively, considering turnover, size, weight, and storage requirements of stock.
  • Advise and support warehouse staff on best practices for the care, handling, and preservation of items.
  • Provide guidance on equipment usage, handling methods, and storage techniques.
  • Monitor and review records to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to stock management, storage, and distribution.
  • Ensure the daily shift operation is executed in accordance with the plan.
  • Ensure all stock movements are executed and documented correctly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all relevant checklists are correctly updated in accordance with HSSE standards.
  • Stand in for the Warehouse Supervisor as required.

Minimum Requirements

What We're Looking For :

  • Experience in a similar role: 2 years or more.
  • Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric / Diploma / Degree.

Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety standards.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead, guide, and support warehouse staff effectively.

Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and processes.

Proficiency in warehouse systems and basic computer skills.

  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
