Job description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our frontline team at the Maersk Warehouse, based in Parow Industrial.

This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely picking, packing, and handling of products.

The ideal candidate will follow direction well, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and uphold safety and quality standards in all warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities : Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer requirements and internal standardsHandle products with care to minimize damage and ensure qualityUse RF scanners to scan and track inventory during picking, packing, and stock movementFollow instructions from the Team Leader and work collaboratively with team membersMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaAssist in loading and unloading shipments, and perform stock replenishment as requiredIdentify and report discrepancies or damaged itemsComply with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all timesMaintain Warehouse 5S Standards as per procedureExecute daily tasks in accordance with established warehouse SOPsConsistently follow and promote company safety standardsMinimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in a warehouse environment preferredExperience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a strong advantageFamiliarity with RF scanning devicesBasic math, reading, and written communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to follow instructions preciselyReliable, punctual, and able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environmentWilling to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as requiredMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
