Job summary

Wootware Computers in Somerset West, Western Cape, is seeking a detail-focused Warehouse Assistant to join either the Receiving or Dispatch team. The role involves handling stock, packing for shipping, and ensuring inventory accuracy while supporting a fast-moving, customer-centric operation.

You will be moving stock daily, using basic computer systems, and collaborating with a team of tech enthusiasts in a friendly, hands-on environment. Starting salary is competitive with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading incoming stock deliveries
• Inspecting products and verifying quantities
• Booking stock into our system and assigning storage locations
• Organising shelves and ensuring proper stock rotation
• Assisting with periodic stock takes and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Processing internal stock requests between departments
• Picking products on order from storage
• Assigning products to orders
• Packing items securely for shipping
• Processing courier waybills and shipment documentation
• Preparing manifests and facilitating courier collections
• Ensuring customer collection orders are ready and correct

We've got a position open within our Warehouse Department (the engine room of Wootware), where all the receiving, storage, and dispatch magic happens.
Whether it's booking in a new shipment of GPUs or carefully packing a customer's dream build for delivery, the work you do here directly shapes the customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

In the warehouse, you'll form a vital part of either the Receiving Team or the Dispatch Team, depending on where your strengths lie.
Here's what to expect from each:

Receiving Team:

• Receiving and unloading incoming stock deliveries
• Inspecting products and verifying quantities
• Booking stock into our system and assigning storage locations
• Organising shelves and ensuring proper stock rotation
• Assisting with periodic stock takes and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Processing internal stock requests between departments

Dispatch Team:

• Picking products on order from storage
• Assigning products to orders
• Packing items securely for shipping

The starting salary for this position is R 9,000 *
