Warehouse Assistant - Centurion

About the Role:

Reporting to the Depot Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Picking, packing, and checking stock
2. General housekeeping
3. Stock counts

A Bit More Detail:

1. Checking stock, assisting with the counting of stock before stock leaves premises – match invoices
2. Assist with the counting of stock daily
3. Pick stock according to the picking slip
4. Packing stock in the correct area as per warehouse layout, stock codes and descriptions and shelf as per Depot Supervisor's instructions
5. General housekeeping and cleaning
6. Assist as a truck assistant when deliveries are done to clients
7. Ensure that no substandard stock is supplied to customers
8. Always comply with Health & Safety regulations
9. Clean all stock before packing in designated storage areas

About You:

1. National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)
2. Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in a similar role
3. Product knowledge of pool & irrigation items would be an advantage
4. Strong Sense of Responsibility
5. Must be able to report for duty timeously, as per the prescribed working hours
6. Effective Communication Skills in English (Verbal and Written)
7. High level of attention to detail
8. Ability to Multitask
9. Ability to work within a team
10. Ability to work Overtime
11. Ability to deal with pressure and be deadline driven
12. Good Problem-solving skills
13. Positive Attitude (Motivation, confidence and development orientation)
