Warehouse and Logistics Manager
Qualification:

Responsibilities:
- Organise, manage, and coordinate all warehousing and shipping operations to ensure organisational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Manage customer orders and deliveries, ensuring timeliness, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee employee safety and well-being, implementing Occupational Health and Safety standards.
- Manage safety, risk, and compliance related to storage, transport, and warehouse operations.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and control through proper warehouse functions and processes.
- Lead, train, and develop warehouse and logistics teams, fostering a culture of discipline and accuracy.
- Promote team spirit and cooperation among employees.
- Conduct regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain inventory reports.
- Manage inventory levels, eliminate obsolete stock, and coordinate storage and replenishment processes.
- Oversee warehouse equipment and machinery, ensuring safety and maintenance.
- Handle inbound and outbound activities, including receiving, packing, staging, and dispatching.
- Ensure shipment targets and delivery schedules are met.
- Develop and maintain transportation systems for domestic and international freight.
- Plan routes, book deliveries, monitor costs, and negotiate with transport providers.
- Manage subcontracted transporters and support tender processes.
- Maintain operational procedures for warehousing and distribution.
- Implement security procedures to prevent damage and shrinkage.
- Oversee regional warehouse and branch staff operations.
- Support procurement, stock level planning, and inventory management alongside the Commercial Manager.
