Job Title: Waitron (Limited Hour Fixed Term Contract for 36 Months)

Location: Gauteng, Pretoria

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12
• 1–2 years of experience serving clients in a hospitality environment

Critical Performance Areas

The incumbent will be responsible for performing the following functions, among others:

1. Set up tables according to restaurant standards and requirements.
2. Serve food and beverages to clients professionally.
3. Transport soiled dishes from dining areas to the kitchen, depositing them in proper bins.
4. Be knowledgeable about the menu and accompaniments to respond to client queries.
5. Monitor stock levels and request additional stock, cutlery, crockery, and equipment as needed.
6. Ensure the restaurant booking sheet is completed and that each client signs the questionnaire form.
7. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, storerooms, and changing rooms in accordance with HACCP, Food Safety Act, and SHEQ standards.
