As a Café Waiter, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, ensuring a welcoming and pleasant environment and helping maintain the smooth operation of the café.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
2. Take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen or Barista.
3. Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
4. Answer customer questions about the menu, including food ingredients, and offer recommendations.
5. Ensure that tables are clean and ready for guests by setting them up for new customers.
6. Clear and clean tables once customers have finished their meals.
7. Assist in restocking inventory such as napkins, utensils, and condiments.
8. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
9. Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
10. Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, escalating issues when necessary.
11. Maintain good relationships with colleagues and customers.
12. Remain up to date with procedures and policies.
13. All staff to be courteous to colleagues and provide a welcoming environment to customers.

1. Previous experience in a similar role (waitressing or food service) is a must.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Friendly, polite, and customer-focused attitude.
4. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
5. Ability to work well in a team environment.
6. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
7. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
