About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead the finance function and drive the next phase of rapid growth. In this key leadership position, you will not only shape and manage the company’s financial strategy but also serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

NB - Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop dynamic financial models, forecasts, and business plans to support strategic decision-making.

Global Financial Operations: Design and implement global operating frameworks across multiple entities and currencies.

Budgeting & Performance Tracking: Lead the budgeting process, conduct scenario planning, and track financial performance against targets.

Commercial Deal Structuring: Creatively structure commercial and licensing agreements with enterprise clients to drive growth.

Process Optimization: Establish scalable financial processes for compliance, reporting, and effective cash flow management.

Preferred Background

Leadership Experience: Senior finance leader (VP, Director, CFO) within high-growth B2B SaaS or fintech environments.

Strong Financial Modelling Experience Essential

Capital Raising Expertise: Proven experience in raising venture capital and managing investor relationships.

Emerging Markets Experience: Strong familiarity with operating in or across emerging markets, particularly in Africa and Asia.

SaaS & Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of SaaS economics, platform metrics, and licensing structures.

International Finance Knowledge: Comfort with international tax laws, foreign exchange, and complex entity structures.

Analytical Skills: Expertise in Excel and financial dashboards, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.

Bonus: Experience with telecom companies, banks, or financial regulators.

Cash Flow Planning: Manage regional and global cash flow planning to support scaling efforts.

Financial Infrastructure: Establish and maintain smart financial infrastructure, covering burn management, unit economics, and more.

Pricing & Commercial Terms: Develop pricing models and commercial term sheets for enterprise partnerships.

Full-Stack Finance Operations: Lead the full financial operations setup, from compliance and forecasting to financial reporting.
