We would like to hear from you if you are a highly skilled Volante Designer looking for the opportunity to work on impactful financial integration projects within the banking sector.

This 12-month contract role, with the potential for annual renewal, is ideal for a candidate with expertise in financial messaging systems, Volante Designer, and Java-based development frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement integration solutions using Volante Designer for financial messaging standards, and develop message transformations and validations.
• Build and maintain integration components with Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Apache Camel, ensuring performance through code reviews and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, document technical specifications, troubleshoot issues, and support production environments.

Required Technical Skills :

• Proficient in Volante Designer : experience designing, testing, and deploying financial message transformations.
• Strong Java Development : solid understanding of core Java principles and enterprise application development.
• Spring Framework : experience with Spring Boot and Spring Integration.
• Hibernate ORM : for data persistence and efficient interaction with relational databases.
• SQL : strong knowledge of writing and optimizing queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
• Apache Camel : hands-on experience building enterprise integration flows using Camel routes and components.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

• Experience working in financial institutions, particularly with payment gateways or financial messaging systems.
• Familiarity with message standards like SWIFT MT / MX, SEPA, ISO 20022.
• Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
