Job Description
You will be responsible for the following :
- Ensuring adherence with cashflow and programme.
- Keeping the server up to date at all times.
- Ensuring that all documentation is filed correctly.
- Managing consultants appointments and performance.
- Managing contractors appointments and performance.
- Complying with all processes and protocols.
- Management of Contracts, including JBCC and NEC.
- Checking invoices and their correctness.
- Reviews of invoices.
- Review of appointments, additional fees, and any other related matters.
- Professional review of Mechanical and Fire Stage Reports.
- Site inspections to make sure that the mechanical and fire installations are according to drawings and Regulations.
- Making sure Auditor General audits are successfully completed.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional registration with Engineering Professional Board.
Skills
- Minimum experience : 5 years in the Construction Industry.
- Experience in contracts (JBCC and NEC) administration and financial administration.
- Minimum 2 years post-registration Must be professionally registered with ECSA
- Able to work in an open office environment with other professionals
- Experience in government health projects is advantageous or at least experience in high complexity construction projects
- Sound working knowledge and experience with JBCC 6.2 Principal Building Agreement is essential. Exposure to NEC 3 & 4 contracts is beneficial
- Able to review, compile and endorse Contract Instructions & Extension of time claims
- Experience with project-specific cash flow projections (Construction and PSP fees) is beneficial
- STRONG project management and delegation skills
- Proficient in MS Word & Excel & Outlook
