Job summary

Mr Price Group is seeking a Store Merchandising Manager for Cavendish Square in Cape Town. Lead visual merchandising strategy, translate campaigns into engaging in-store experiences, and drive commercial performance while maintaining brand DNA across stores.

Responsibilities include space planning, store design leadership, and coaching a high-performing team. Requires degree/diploma in related field and at least 5 years in fashion retail merchandising.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Fashion, Retail Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Visual Merchandising within a fashion retail environment.
• Proven experience in store design, space planning, and project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
• Strong knowledge of fashion retail trends, merchandising, store operations, and customer experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, while managing stakeholders and driving commercial results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Visual Merchandising strategy aligned to the Mr Price Apparel brand and business objectives.
• Translate seasonal product stories, fashion trends, and campaigns into impactful in-store experiences.
• Drive commercial performance through innovative visual merchandising initiatives.
• Create inspiring and engaging shopping environments that reflect the Mr Price Apparel brand DNA.
• Enhance the customer journey through effective product presentation, styling, and visual storytelling.
• Lead the development of store layouts, merchandise adjacencies, and fixture strategies that maximize sales.
