Visual Merchandise Manager - Cape Town & Namibia

We need an ambitious, responsible, and self-motivated individual to fill the following vacancy that exists.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Projects and Visual Executive.

Job Functions:

1. Periodic store visits
2. Action merchandise checklist in store
3. Feedback findings to Ops & H / O
4. Create corrective action plan with Ops manager if required
5. Train & clarify standards
6. Follow up to ensure full understanding & implementations
7. Check all departments per store regarding stock levels & feedback to H / O
8. Visit new stores before opening to ensure principles are adhered to
9. Ensure window visual merchandise guidelines are implemented

Minimum Requirements:

1. 5 years Visual Merchandise retail management experience, with at least 2 years at Senior management level
2. Computer Literate: MS Word & Excel
3. Good knowledge of MS Outlook
4. Knowledge of how to assemble fixtures and merchandise to attract the customer's attention
5. Must have a creative and artistic aptitude with good hand-eye coordination
6. Planning & decision-making ability coupled with great listening and communication skills
7. Matric
8. Driver's License
9. Willing to travel
10. Team player
