Job summary

Hollywoodbets in Gauteng is seeking a VIP Security Team Leader to manage VIP officers and ensure safety across branches. The role requires a valid manual driving license, PSIRA registration, and prior security experience. Grade B certification is preferred, with A-class as an advantage.

You will oversee branch security programs, train officers, and coordinate staffing to ensure continuous coverage, while maintaining the company’s safety standards and professional reputation.

Qualifications

• Minimum security experience with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide branch administration support and ensure cash policies are followed.
• Secure cash in branch and monitor security procedures.
• Supervise security programs to reduce losses and injuries.
• Review staffing levels to ensure full post coverage.
• Assist in supervising Security Officers on assigned shifts.
• Provide training to new security officers.
• Conduct branch visits for observation and reporting to management.
• Detain trespassers or violators until law enforcement arrives.
• Interview, hire, and train security staff as needed.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; conduct performance assessments.

You Bring:

• Valid Manual Divers License
• Grade B (A is an Advantage)
• Registered with PSIRA
• Previous Security experience

What You’ll Do For The Brand:

• Provide branch administration support by ensuring team members follow cash management policies and procedures
• Be aware of securing cash in branch.

What You’ll Do For The Brand:

• Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
• Review staffing levels to maintain full coverage of posts.
• Assists in the supervision of Security Officers on assigned shift.
• Responsible for the proper execution of assigned duties.
• Provide training to new security officers.
• Doing branch visits for observation purposes, attend to all emergencies and report to the manager.
• Detains trespassers or law violators on-site until arrival of law enforcement.
• Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
• Planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Performance assessments and disciplinary action.
• Maintaining a professional Departmental and Company reputation.
• Maintaining a regular and consistent attendance record.
• Keeping well-informed of and adhering to all rules, regulations and policies.
• Providing protection to the company its employees and customers.
• Interacting with local Law Enforcement Agencies as required.
• Assist in operating the timekeeping system when required.
• Attending and completing all required training as assigned.
