Job description

MANAGER OF HOSPITALITY PORTFOLIO

FINANCIAL
  • Review past financials to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for the villas, wine events, and functions.
  • Increase bookings (new and repeat) through agent engagement. Organise and host site visits.
  • Link villa guests to the winery.
  • Review GP and prepare a monthly report on guest profitability to focus efforts on the most valuable guests.
CUSTOMERS: Multi-generational families and corporate teams
  • Ensure clear communication with guests before, during, and after their stay regarding accommodation, functions, and wine sales.
  • Manage social & digital media and PR, aligned with the brand identity. Review quarterly with business owners.
  • Develop the corporate market and focus on family celebration journeys.
  • Foster repeat business through strong relationships with guests to encourage multiple stays.
  • Build relationships with selected Online Travel Agencies and top 5 agencies.
  • Implement and refine crafted experiences as designed by the business owners.
RESOURCES
  • Develop the villa team, including recruiting, training, and implementing discipline to ensure high performance.
  • Manage a network of service providers, including chefs, event coordinators, etc.
  • Manage the team of selected agents, including wedding planners.
  • Manage trade exchanges to balance cost and value, ensuring business viability.
PROCESSES
  • Manage property maintenance and upgrades in agreement with owners.
  • Ensure consistent service delivery that offers crafted experiences to optimize guest stays.
  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly quality checklists.
  • Coordinate online shopping and review costs after each guest checkout.
