Job summary

Media24’s Co.Labis is seeking a curious videographer intern to gain hands-on experience in content marketing. You’ll join a creative team, operate cameras, help tell stories and edit footage for ecommerce, tech and consumer brands.

Work across studio and on-location shoots in Cape Town, with travel as needed, and learn to apply AI video tools in a fast-paced production environment while building a diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

• Be studying towards, or have recently completed, a qualification in videography, media, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of video production and camera equipment.
• Basic understanding of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be based in Cape Town and available to work from the Media24 office.

Co.Labis a content marketing team that works with some of South Africa’s leadingecommerce, technology and consumer brands. We create content across websites, social media, newsletters, video and other digital platforms.

We’re looking for a curious, creative and enthusiasticvideographer internto join our team and get hands‑on experience in the world of content marketing.

What you’ll be doing

Over the course of the internship, you’ll work across multiple brands and accounts, giving you exposure to a wide range of industries, audiences and content formats. You’ll get involved in things like:

• Working with a skilled team to create high‑quality footage for our marketing clients.
• A key focus on camera operation but also creating story lines and editing.
• AI video creation skills – and a willingness to explore this ever‑evolving technology – are a plus.
• Working in studio and on location both in Cape Town and further afield. Some travel may be required.
• Working with a wide variety of subject matter and for a wide variety of final outputs, including food content, medical, financial, logistics, tourism, etc.
• Working with varying teams and clients within the Media24 ecosystem, as well as with clients outside of the organisation.
• Working within our digital workflow systems to ensure continuity and efficiency at all times.

You should:
