Role Description

As a Performance Video Editor specializing in platforms like Meta, TikTok, and AppLovin, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging video content designed to maximize audience engagement and drive conversions. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a robust understanding of social media advertising and conversion strategies, able to transform raw footage into compelling narratives that resonate with users and prompt action.

This is more than just cutting footage. You'll help tell stories that move people and move the needle.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit video content: Take raw footage and create captivating videos tailored for performance advertising on Meta, TikTok, and AppLovin that grab attention and encourage user interactions
  • Repurpose creative content: Repurpose influencer creative, social posts, and UGC (user-generated content) into performance marketing ads, using insights from previous content as a guide.
  • Optimize video performance: Utilize insights and analytics to refine video content for maximum engagement and conversion rates, ensuring we continuously improve our creative output
  • Develop strong creative briefs: Collaborate with the creative strategist to understand campaign goals and tailor video content to fit specific objectives and audience segments
  • Adhere to brand guidelines: Ensure all videos align with brand messaging and aesthetics while maintaining creative flexibility to resonate with diverse audiences
  • Keep pace with trends: Stay updated on current trends and best practices in social media advertising and video content creation to innovate and keep our campaigns relevant
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, design, and performance teams to align video strategy with overall campaign objectives and performance goals


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience editing video for social media advertising, especially Meta and TikTok
  • A strong portfolio showcasing performance-driven video content
  • Experience in social ads in the e-commerce, beauty, or consumer goods space.
  • Expertise in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and platform-specific editing apps
  • A deep understanding of video metrics and how to optimize for performance
  • Creative storytelling skills paired with strategic thinking
  • Comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple projects, and meeting tight deadlines
