MORE Family Collection is seeking an experienced video and photo editor to become part of the marketing team.

You will be required to transform footage, images, and audio into compelling content that captures the essence of our hotels, lodges, and safari experiences.

You will be responsible for creating short-form and long-form content for social media, websites, promotional materials, and YouTube.

A successful candidate will need to be able to work under deadlines, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with other team members in the production pipeline.

Key Focus Areas

1. Content Planning and Evaluation

• Organise content files for easy access and future use
• Evaluate raw content in relation to its suitability for briefs, shot lists, and storyboards
• Analyse raw content to identify key moments and select impactful shots
• Follow scripts, outlines, or briefs during editing
• Improve content lighting, colouring, and quality
• Stay updated with social media trends and adapt content accordingly

Content Editing

• Add text overlays, subtitles, and captions for clarity and engagement
• Enhance footage with effects, transitions, or music
• Apply storytelling and pacing techniques in editing

Collaboration and Communication

• Revise edits based on team feedback to ensure quality and brand consistency
• Collaborate effectively with other production team members

Requirements, Qualifications, and Skills

• 3+ years' experience in video editing
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Audition
• Knowledge of luxury hospitality sector (preferred)
• Understanding of safari and wildlife content (preferred)
• Strong editing skills with attention to detail
• Ability to adapt editing style for different platforms
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of social media trends and content optimization
