We are seeking a Vice President to lead our Specialty Leasing team.
Reporting to the EVP, Director of Leasing, the ideal candidate will be a key member of URW's Sales Team, which encompasses permanent leasing, kiosk leasing, common area leasing, and media sales.
This role will lead the teams working directly with internal partners and external clients to develop, implement, and manage activities that maximize revenue from our common areas while honoring the customer journey.
In addition, the ideal candidate must have a proven track record in driving excellence, imaginative thinking, and entrepreneurialism.
They must thrive on creatively working to inspire a multifunctional and diverse team with a management approach that is customer-obsessed, collaborative, and bold.
Support ongoing growth with a focus on team building, career development, and succession planning. Provide training, mentoring, and leadership to meet objectives. Responsible for strategic direction, including budgets, revenue growth, and customer journey strategy. Create an environment that fosters success, communicate expectations, and support team members. Identify and hire talented individuals. Conduct meetings, mentor dealmakers, and implement process improvements. Research new business opportunities. Prepare reports for C-Suite. Achieve key performance metrics.
Develop market understanding, leverage relationships to sell across shopping centers, and promote Westfield's advantages. Manage accounts to meet quotas and deepen customer relationships.
At least ten years' experience in the shopping center industry, managing direct reports, with a strong reputation for honesty and integrity. Proven ability to grow and maintain a large book of business, leverage industry relationships, and achieve goals. Deep understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial metrics. Experience leading cross-business engagement and creating change. Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Salesforce.
Exempt role based in Los Angeles: Salary range $, – $, plus discretionary annual bonus.
