We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead the commercial expansion of a global EdTech & SaaS leader in South Africa and across Southern Africa. This is an unparalleled opportunity for a high-calibre sales executive to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships in one of the world’s fastest-growing education technology firms.

As VP of Sales, you will be responsible for orchestrating large-scale sales strategies and expanding the company's footprint in the region. You will work at the intersection of technology, education, and enterprise solutions, engaging with C-suite executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders across the EdTech ecosystem.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a sales leader who thrives on driving business expansion, customer acquisition, and strategic growth.

Qualifications:
  1. Proven Executive Sales Leader: 12+ years of enterprise sales leadership experience in EdTech, SaaS, ERP, or enterprise technology.
  2. Strategic & Visionary Mindset: Ability to scale operations, identify growth opportunities, and drive sustainable revenue expansion.
  3. Enterprise SaaS Expertise: Strong track record of selling high-value software solutions (ERP, SaaS, LMS, CRM) to enterprise clients.
  4. Results-Driven & Data-Oriented: History of exceeding sales targets and optimizing commercial success.
  5. C-Level Relationship Management: Ability to engage, negotiate, and close deals with C-suite executives and enterprise decision-makers.
  6. Industry Expertise in EdTech & Digital Transformation: Understanding of education systems, digital transformation, and enterprise software sales.
  7. Leadership & Team Development: Proven experience scaling high-performance sales teams and mentoring top sales talent.
  8. Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel for in-person meetings, market expansion, and client engagement.
Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and identify new business opportunities in Southern Africa.
  2. Lead efforts to enter new markets/segments, analyze trends, and strengthen the company’s presence in existing markets.
  3. Work collaboratively with the team to identify and generate qualified leads, ensuring a robust pipeline to achieve business growth objectives.
  4. Establish strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high satisfaction levels, and resolving strategic issues.
  5. Provide accurate sales forecasting and compile market insights for leadership decision-making.
  6. Define sales processes, lead a team, and coordinate training programs to enhance sales outcomes.
  7. Partner with marketing teams to establish support programs and provide insights on customer and market conditions.
